Our recent mission trip to Ecuador was an unforgettable journey of service, faith, and community.
We worked on various projects at the Hacienda El Refugio retreat, from property maintenance and electrical tasks to painting and drywall installation. Our hearts were filled as we brought the joy of Vacation Bible School to local children in the community, shared moments of devotion around the fire, and prayed over a newly constructed church.
We also had the opportunity to participate in the team bonding activities the retreat offers visitors, like different trust exercises, hiking experiences, and high rope courses. This trip wasn’t just about what we gave; it was about the heartwarming and beautiful experiences and connections we gained.
